North Country Slate is a manufacturer and distributor of natural roofing slates from the finest quarries in North America and around the world. "North Country" colors are produced by North America's premier quarries, offering users a full range of sizes, textures and thicknesses to match or replicate existing historic roofs for restoration, replacement or repair. Colors include black, gray/black, gray, green, gray/green, mottled purple, purple and red with both unfading and weathering color characteristics.

We are also pleased to introduce Chelsea Slate by North Country. "Chelsea Slate" colors are produced by carefully chosen select quarries from around the world and imported, by North Country Slate, into North America. All slates meet the requirements of ASTM International C406, as tested by National Slate Association recommended laboratories, and are backed by North Country Slate's commitment to quality, customer service and warranty. These products may make suitable substitutes for North American produced slates on new construction and some restoration work.
